The Boys & Girls Club of Yankton Traditional Unit serves youth ages 1st - 12th grade after school and during the summer. The Traditional Unit is designed to provide a safe, educationally enriching program for youth when adult supervision may not be available.
Programs and activities are provided in our three Priority Outcomes: Academic Success, Good Character & Leadership and Healthy Lifestyles. This programming is conducted and planned by a staff trained to meet the needs of children and provide positive adult role models.
Our staff members are experienced in the area of youth development. All staff members are background checked and trained annually in a variety of important areas including Youth Development, CPR and First Aid.
Membership fees are $100 per child annually.
However, no child will be turned away due to inability to pay.
